Since 2012 and 2022, respectively, we have been celebrating the Swiss ICT industry with our customers and partners at the annual Netzmedien Summer Party and ICTjournal Spring Party. In 2025, an exclusive event was added to the calendar: the Netzmedien Grand Prix.
Netzmedien Summer Party
Since 2012, we have been celebrating the Swiss ICT industry together with around 700 customers and partners at the now legendary annual Netzmedien Summer Party. It is the ICT event of the year, guaranteed without an official program. It's all about informal, communal eating and drinking and networking.
ICTjournal Spring Party
Since 2022, the ICTjournal Spring Party has been held in Lausanne for our customers and partners in French-speaking Switzerland. This party is also about sharing a moment of relaxation, exchange and networking.
Netzmedien Grand Prix
On November 26, 2025, 18 racing drivers competed against each other on the virtual Hockenheimring. The Netzmedien Grand Prix celebrated its debut on Europaallee in Zurich with over 100 guests. Thrills, competitive spirit in the air, fine aperitifs, a flying dinner, and great networking all combined to make for a harmonious evening.
Awards
What began in 2001 with the founding of Netzmedien is now the most important award family in the Swiss digital economy. Following the management buyout by Urs Bucher, Martin J. Matt, and Christof Zogg in 2025, Netzmedien is focusing on its role as an exclusive media partner. We continue to closely follow the competitions and report on the most innovative minds and projects in the industry.
Best of Swiss Web
Every spring, the "Best of Swiss Web" award honors outstanding digital projects commissioned by Swiss companies or created for Swiss companies. With over 100 judges in around eleven categories, the competition has been setting quality standards for web excellence since 2001 and ensuring transparency in the industry. As the exclusive media partner, Netzmedien accompanies the journey from the submissions to the festive award night.
Best of Swiss Apps
In the fall, Best of Swiss Apps selects the best mobile and app solutions in the country. Around 50 judges evaluate the projects in around ten different categories based on innovation, design, and craftsmanship. As a media partner, Netzmedien puts the winners in the spotlight and offers the dynamic mobile industry a platform for publicity and networking.
Best of Swiss Software
Since 2024, Best of Swiss Software has been putting the spotlight on the best Swiss individual software and system integration projects. Quality is ensured by a scientific assessment conducted by the Institute for Information Systems at the University of Bern and a jury of experts with Q&A sessions. As a media partner, Netzmedien highlights the technological depth of these award-winning solutions.
