General Terms and Conditions
1. Advertisement content
The client is fully responsible for the content of an advertisement and is fully liable for any claims against the publisher. The publisher declines all liability and reserves the right to refuse publication of advertisements, to suspend current advertisements or to demand changes. Text advertisements must differ from the editorial section in the number of columns, font and font size. The title logo and its typeface may not be used.
All advertisements may be identified as such by the publisher with the heading "Advertisement".
2. Discount agreements
Discount agreements are valid for the duration of one year and only for one client. Any excess or shortfall compared to the agreed volume shall be compensated by credit notes or chargebacks. No discount is granted for public holidays that fall within the booked period.
3. Placements, suspensions, right to postpone
Placement requests will be taken into account as far as possible. Binding placement instructions are subject to an additional charge as per the media documentation. Non-appearance of the advertisement or placement elsewhere or in another issue shall not entitle the advertiser to assert any claims for damages. Suspensions can no longer be accepted after the advertising deadline for technical reasons. We reserve the right to postpone advertisements by one issue, even without consulting the client, for technical reasons. Extensions for public holidays within the booked period will not be granted.
Cancellation (Print)
- In the event of a cancellation up to 60 days before the printing material deadline, we will charge 25% of the costs.
- In the event of a cancellation between 14 and 59 days before the printing material deadline, we will charge 50% of the costs.
- In the event of a cancellation 13 days or more before the deadline for printing documents, we will charge 100% of the costs.
Cancellation (online)
- If you cancel up to 30 days before the placement, we will charge 25% of the costs.
- If you cancel between 7 and 29 days before the placement, we will charge 50% of the costs.
- In the event of a cancellation 6 days or more before the print material deadline, we will charge 100% of the costs.
4. Print documents, technical printing defects, complaints
If possible, print documents should be available in digital form. Any additional costs, such as scanning or editing of existing documents, shall be invoiced to the client separately at cost. No liability can be accepted for advertisements that do not appear flawlessly as a result of missing or unsuitable printing material. We reserve the right to a reasonable tolerance in the color shade of chromatic colors. Claims for compensation or price reductions can only be made if the meaning and purpose of the advertisement is significantly impaired by major defects in the technical reproduction. Further claims are excluded. Complaints will only be accepted within 30 days of invoicing. The obligation to retain print documents ends three months after publication of the last advertisement.
5. Terms of payment
30 days net after reception of invoice, without discount. Discounts will be claimed subsequently. In the event of foreclosure, judicial collection and in the event of bankruptcy or a composition agreement, the client and any intermediaries involved shall lose any entitlement to discounts, commissions and commissions.
6. Price/service changes
We reserve the right to make changes to prices/services and these shall also take effect immediately for current orders.
7. Applicability
The insertion orders are based on the price documentation issued by the publisher. The insertion terms are binding for all orders.
8. Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction and place of fulfillment is the registered office of Netzmedien AG, Zürich.
